Jess & Lauren
Since 2016, wedding photography has been a blend of my passions for travel, storytelling, connection and love.
Before going full-time, I worked as a yoga teacher and corporate recruiter. A pivotal yoga retreat in Mexico led me to work with a photographer in California, turning the hobby I loved into a craft and career.
Eventually, I returned to Mexico, where I started my business and lived by the sea for 5 years photographing weddings, couples and families from all over the world. In 2020 I found my way to Colorado and the mountain west. These days you can find me between Denver and San Francisco often hiking, skiing, doing yoga or taking my dog for a walk.
Community is extremely important to me and I aim to give back through my time and means as much as possible.

For eight years I’ve been photographing life’s most memorable and exciting moments. I’ve pulled from my own life experiences, education and my family to find a perspective to call my own.
My background in Fine Art photography lead me to weddings and from there, I have evolved through the years to incorporate different styles and mediums into my work.
Today, being a mother and having my family influences my perspective most of all. To preserve moments for generations to come is something very close to my heart.
Being part of the JL allows me to do what I love across the US and collaborate with a kindred soul in Jess while we do it. You can often find us catching up for hours, talking about work and life and genuinely enjoying being in each other's company.
