Miranda & Thomas Sayulita Engagement
It's been so long since I've blogged anything, how do people keep up with these things?! One thing is for sure, I won't be becoming a 'blogger' any time soon- and big kudos to people who can do this every day! That being said, I do like to take the time as much as I can to share more of my work and beautiful clients. Hopefully one of these days I will get caught up!
Which brings me to Miranda and Thomas! This stunning couple found me while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta. They had recently gotten engaged in Denver and wanted to take their engagement photos here in a tropical setting. Of course I was in and excited to meet them! They decided Sayulita would be a great backdrop for their session and came over to meet me. We took a walk through town, I'm going to start calling these Jessica's tours (shout out to my best friend for the name), and took some great photos along the way.
The best part- we had so much fun and they loved their photos so when I offered to consider me to shoot their wedding, they said yes! Yay! I can't say how excited I am to be traveling to Denver (CO is my future second home!) for their wedding at Highlands Ranch this October. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait to see them again and be part of their wedding day!
Our session started out in the center of town which many now know as the famous "flag street". Sayulita's plaza is very small compared to most towns and it's easy to get from one spot to the next quickly. My personal favorite spots are the plaza gazebo and the church. We went for more color and stopped by Petit Hotel Hafa, Pachamama Sayulita and a few of the streets leading to the beach.
We made it to the beach just in time for my favorite soft sunlight! The main beach was lucky quiet and gave us a beautiful backdrop. I mean, look at these two- I'm just dying! So gorgeous.
A stroll down Calle Pescadores to catch a pop of pink from Casa Pata Salada.
We ended our session with sunset on Playa Los Muertos. Some of my personal favorites photos from the session. These two were so fun and playful, they made my job very easy! As most of my clients know, if you don't end our sessions a little wet and sandy then it wasn't the true experience! These two were good sports to get splashed on the rocks- anything for the photo!
I'm so grateful to have met Miranda and Thomas. We clicked right away and they are so sweet and fun, I'm so excited to be shooting their wedding in Denver at Highlands Ranch this October! You will definitely be seeing a lot more of this stunning couple!
