A Gorgeous Winter Elopement In Breckenridge Colorado
Sapphire Point & Loveland Pass
Brittany & Thomas came from Texas to celebrate their love and elope here in beautiful Colorado. The pair chose a Breckenridge, Colorado Elopement on a beautiful winter day to capture the special moment. We started our session at Sapphire Point in Breckenridge on Lake Dillon. B&T had hoped to have a first look on the mountain but given that Brittany needed help getting into her dress at their hotel, they opted to skip a first look and get ready together. We had beautiful, but chilly weather at Sapphire Point to start our session and I just love how the photos came out! Sapphire Point is one of my favorite spots, especially during winter. It’s predictable and easy to get amazing views without much walking or hiking (which in winter can be a big plus!).
Brittany chose a beautiful lace, long sleeved gown for her Breckenridge, Colorado elopement. It had beautiful detail and the sleeves were perfect for the chill in the air. Travis wore a navy blue suit with a beautiful boutonniere. I loved the bouquet Brittany had made in Breckenridge. The florals were perfect for that little touch of winter.

Sapphire Point
After Sapphire Point, we moved down to the beach at Lake Dillon for a few more photos. I love this spot because it reminds me of a beach in Scotland (which is my personal obsession!) and it has such a beautiful rustic mix of textures. I love the rocky beach with the water and the evergreen and mountain backdrop. This particular spot is a little off the beaten path but easy to get to and one of my favorites!
Loveland Pass Elopement
Last but not least we made our way to Loveland Pass to read their vows and celebrate the reason we were all here! Brittany loved this spot when I showed her photos and they were both so excited to be in such an amazing spot to exchange their vows. Even though it was freezing!!- these two didn’t’ let it stop them! They read their vows to each other at 12,000ft in a beautiful, sweet intimate moment. It was such a pleasure to meet these two and be part of this amazing moment in their lives.
