Last summer I was incredibly fortune to be part of a beautiful wedding celebration at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. I assisted Sarah Porter Photography on this beautiful day and helped to capture images and memories for her sweet couple. Last summer was a crazy time in the wedding industry due to covid but a few couples, like the one here, still managed to have a beautiful celebration. This Texas couple had to cut their guest list by over half to accommodate restrictions. In the end it all worked out and this was the perfect Colorado wedding at The Broadmoor.
Classic Wedding Meets Mountains
The Broadmoor is iconic hotel located about 1.5 hrs from Denver. Its classic style and elegance have made a name for itself for many decades. It’s a great spot to combine the stylish and elegant with mountain views. The lake has mountain views and the iconic pink hued buildings add a touch of European elegance. There are several ceremony options on the grounds, from a pavilion to the main deck overlooking the lake like shown here. Most ceremonies are held indoors but there are a few outdoor options as well. It’s a great venue for accommodating large weddings of 200+ people. Adding timeless florals like this Texas couple dressed up the ceremony space and reception to a whole new level. I loved the choice of reception details and use of the European ballroom shown here. Whether you style it up or keep it simple, The Broadmoor shines as an amazing Colorado wedding venue!
