September is one of the best months in Colorado for a wedding! Here’s a sneak peak at a beautiful fall wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado. Planned by Something Blue Event Co with florals by Plum Sage Flowers.
N&A decided on a Colorado wedding to bring their families and friends from different coasts together to celebrate. Devil’s Thumb Ranch was the perfect fit for their weekend celebration. One of the West’s most popular ranch resort destinations, Devil’s Thumb Ranch provides everything needed for a weekend of wedding events. From luxurious on site lodging and dining to horse back riding, axe throwing and other activities- there’s no end of fun for guests. N&A took advantage of all Devil’s Thumb Ranch had to offer and brought their closest to come experience it with them!
Classic Details
The bride kept her details classic and timeless with Manolo Blahnik pumps and a Carolina Herrera gown.
The couple’s beloved dog, Fisher, wasn’t able to travel from California to be part of the celebration so N&A honored him in small details through out the day.
First Look Among The Aspens
We chose this spot for the bride who wanted some of the fall colors and changing aspen leaves incorporated in the photos. The grounds of Devil’s Thumb Ranch offer amazing views in every direction.
Devil’s Thumb Ranch Views
N&A chose the upper lawn for their ceremony with this stunning view. The couple wanted a modern take on a ranch wedding. The florals kept it clean and classic. When clouds rolled in during the ceremony and a few drops started to fall, the couple stayed calm. Then as soon as the couple was pronounced husband and wife, the skies opened up and the sun shone through.
Ceremony
Reception
The planner and florist used tons of greenery to bring the outdoors inside the venue. Whites and greens kept the colors timeless and helped modernize the wood interior.
