Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Mexico Wedding

This beautiful Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit Wedding was featured on Carats & Cake, see it here. H&B chose the beautiful Grand Velas resort in Mexico to share their wedding day with friends and family! The couple and most of their guests traveled from Texas for the celebratory weekend. Haley & Baron were one of the many couples who had to reschedule due to covid but luckily finally made it south for their big day!

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is a beautiful property just outside of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Velas Weddings hosts hundreds of events every year on the resort grounds. This was not my first time at Gran Velas; I have photographed several weddings at this resort before! It’s such a great spot for a Mexico wedding. One of my favorite parts of the resort are the bougainvilleas scattered across the grounds.

 

Haley and her bridesmaids chose to get ready in the morning with the help of Jenn Chivers make up. The rooms at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit are perfect for getting ready photos with tons of natural light! Haley wore a white silk robe and her maids wore matching pajamas.

 

The bride’s dress was a gorgeous laces and silk mermaid cut gown. Haley chose to have her mom help her get ready and then reveal her dress to her father. Father and daughter first looks are always some of my favorites!

Haley & baron chose to do their first look in the gorgeous main staircase in the resort. Another of my favorite spots at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Mexico.

The ceremony was held at the famous picture wall at the edge of the sand. The florals were stunning in chased os white and green. Clear chairs accented the picture wall without taking away from it.

 

After a beautiful ceremony, H&B snuck away to take couple’s photos around the grounds. The beautiful lawn and beach at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit make a great spot for all wedding photos through out the day. One of my favorite spots is in corner of the garden where the bougainvillea bloom in the spring!

 

My favorite part of H&B’s wedding was the stunning reception set up! Their planner from Texas, Precious Events, along with Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit Weddings came together to make it spectacular! I loved the high center pieces and the gorgeous head table! H&B celebrated with their family friends and danced the night away in the Mexican heat and salty air!
