Miranda & Thomas’s Highlands Ranch Mansion Wedding in Denver Colorado was pretty close to a fairytale. What started as a beautiful October day, ended with snow! But, that’s Colorado for you. These two didn’t let it bother them one bit! They celebrated and danced the night away.
Highlands Ranch Mansion is a beautiful estate centrally located in Denver, Colorado. It’s such a great choice for a wedding in the city but without an urban feel. The lawn is massive and the estate is beautiful, perfect for outdoor weddings and portraits. Miranda and Thomas chose to have their ceremony outside on the veranda and their reception inside in the ballroom. I’ve also seen ceremony setups on the lawn which are equally beautiful!

Miranda chose a gorgeous Galia Lahav gown from Little White Dress Denver. It had incredible Swarovski crystals in the sheer chest and arm overlays. Talk about amazing! She chose to get ready in the Bridal Suite at Highlands Ranch Mansion with her bridesmaids and mother.

Miranda and Thomas chose not to see each other before the ceremony but they exchanged heart felt notes while getting ready. Miranda’s reaction to Thomas’s note was one of my favorite moments of the day. The couple also chose to holds hands and say a prayer before walking down the aisle but were careful not to sneak a peak at each other yet!
M&T had a huge bridal party! It’s no wonder, since they are both amazing people! My favorite moments were when they were one on one with each person and you could truly see their personalities come out.
The ceremony space was decorated with fall colored flowers and a beautiful arch. Just minutes before it was scheduled to start it began to rain. Deciding on what to do- M&T said let’s do it and went ahead with the ceremony outdoors. The light rain made the ceremony even more intimate and special. Miranda’s father walked her down the aisle to Thomas. The look in his eye said it all. I love watching a groom as he sees the bride for the first time. It was such a beautiful moment!
The ceremony was filled with laughter and tears. I loved learning more about their love story. Both Miranda and Thomas’s reactions were priceless. One of my favorites parts of a wedding day is to capture the faces of the bride and groom while exchanging vows. I loved watching Miranda’s reactions to Thomas.
A beautiful fall ceremony in Colorado
After the ceremony, we snuck away on the lawn to take couple’s portraits of the new Mr & Mrs! The weather had continued to drizzle and the temperature dropped but it didn’t matter. These two were such troopers for sticking it out! The lawn at Highlands Ranch Mansion is a beautiful spot for portraits, rain or shine! As the sun was setting we used every last minute of day light we could. I kept M&T snuggled up for warmth but they didn’t need my help!

Needless to say, these two had an amazing reception and evening filled with friends and family! From heartfelt toasts to a hanging cake (yeah, it was hanging from the ceiling) to the best dance floor I’ve seen in a while! Miranda and Thomas and their guests new how to party the night away! It was such an honor to be part of their wedding day! M&T have been a couple so close to my heart and keeping in touch with them for years from engagement to wedding and anniversaries has been such a highlight for me. Thanks M&T!!
