Sayulita, Mexico is the perfect spot for a destination wedding! Sayulita is a charming surf village on the pacific coast in central Mexico. It’s home to tons of expats from all over the world who have worked with the locals to create a vibrant, bustling little village of boutique shops, restaurants and bars. It’s no wonder it’s a popular place for destination weddings! Sayulita provides couples with a unique experience. It’s tropical, fun, and exotic while also being a short plane ride from most major US cities. It truly is a one of a kind place that draws in visitors for its chic bohemian shops, perfect surf break and relaxed vibe. So it’s no wonder so many couples chose to get married there!

Villa del Oso, Sayulita Mexico is the perfect spot for a destination wedding!                      

 

Kristen & Jesse chose one of my favorite venues in Sayulita to get married, Villa del Oso. Villa del Oso is a beautiful multi villa property on Sayulita’s north end. It has its own private lawn and beach access. It’s the perfect place for a wedding celebration! The Villa itself is a gorgeous white and simple space surrounded by lush tropical greenery. It’s two tiered lawn provides the perfect set up for a ceremony and reception space too.

 

Kristen & Jesse are one of my favorite couples! And just like them, their story is so priceless you almost can’t believe it. They met at a pool party in Las Vegas! Yeah, that’s right. These two met while on separate trips to Las Vegas and some how managed to fall in love and start a relationship. What are the odds, right? You wouldn’t even be surprised if you met them. They are the kindest, sweetest people. 

Getting Ready At Villa del Oso

                 

Kristen was just the perfect bride. Calm and cool all day. Even when it rained, she was amazing! Not only did she make me feel like her best friend- which I love! But all weekend I watched as she showered her family and friends with love and kindness. I heard stories of her generosity and sweet nature from everyone all weekend. I can truly say she lived up to every kind word spoken about her.

                 

Kristen & Jesse opted for a laid back beach ceremony and lawn reception designed by local planner, Yazmin Gizeh. Yazmin and her team brought Kristen’s beautiful vision to life in soft florals and greenery through out the tables and arches.

Although it was raining, Kristen and Jesse’s first look was so special! They way Jesse looked at his bride was priceless. We chose the beautiful garden in front of the bridal suite for the grand reveal. 

Their beach ceremony was officiated by a childhood friend of the groom who was blind and had memorized the entire ceremony reading. Both him and K&J had all of us in tears more than once through out it. The feeling of love and family- and laughter was overwhelming and beautiful.

We snuck away just before dinner to take their sunset photos on the beach. Though the sun had a tough time coming out through the rain that day, you wouldn’t know it by looking at these two! We walked the beach and captured some of my favorite photos from the day.
