What a beautiful Fourth of July weekend it was in Vail! Jessica & Jason has their original plans changed due to COVID. They switched gears and settled on the Sonnenalp Vail to celebrate their wedding day! With their beautiful glassed in solarium, the Sonnenalp Vail proved to be the perfect choice. Not just because it ended up raining! The Sonnenalp Vail was an elegant and classic location, perfect for Jessica & Jason’s Vail wedding.

The fully glassed in solarium at Sonnenalp Vail allowed the outdoor to come inside. Even with the light rain, which is very unusual for summer in Colorado. The fully glassed walls made guests feel as though they were outside among the Vail trees.
Jessica & Jason’s Vail wedding featured a Native American ceremony honoring the 4 directions along with other elements of the earth.
Though the couple had to rework their wedding plans and guest count because of the pandemic, family and friends still celebrated in their honor!
Jessica & Jason had a large wedding party full of friends! We snuck away from the Sonnenalp Vail once the sun came out to take a few group shots with their lively crew!
Jessica looked stunning in her off the shoulder gown. She was the epitome of calm and laid back on her wedding day. It was such a joy to capture Jessica & Jason focused on each other and their love.
The Sonnenalp Vail’s solarium converted perfectly into an outdoor space once the rain stopped. It was the perfect way to bring the outdoors into the wedding. Jessica and Jason’s Vail wedding featured gorgeous greenery on the tablescapes. Little pink details were found through out the reception decor including the glassware and wax stamps on each personal menu.
We snuck away at sunset and found a quiet spot to capture one of Vail’s main attractions. The sun was softly sending the perfect alpine glow onto the mountains. Capturing these sweet moments on a wedding day is my favorite part. Moments to remember for a life time. All you have to do is be in love.
